EurILCA EuropaCup 2026: Patru zile menite să inspire noua generație de sailori

Cele 4 zile de EurILCA EuropaCup 2026 și Seanergya Sailing4All Optimist Regatta au adus în Constanța exact atmosfera pe care o visam: vânt bun, vreme superbă și multă energie pe apă.

În total, 70 de sportivi din 5 țări au concurat în ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7 și Optimist, transformând marea într-un adevărat spectacol de culoare și determinare. Primele două zile au oferit ritmul ideal de competiție, cu câte două curse pe zi, urmate de ziua a 3a cu o singură cursă disputată, iar din păcate, în ziua 4 nu s-a putut da nicio cursă, vântul fiind insuficient pentru sailing.

Chiar și așa, copiii s-au bucurat din plin de experiență, sportivii de toate vârstele, de la 8 la 60 de ani, au dat tot ce au avut mai bun, iar comunitatea de sailing a fost, ca de obicei, la înălțime.

Per total evenimentul a fost mai mult decât o competiție, a fost o experiență completă despre performanță, adaptare, pasiune și comunitate.

EurILCA EuropaCup 2026: Four days meant to inspire the new generation of sailors

The four days of EurILCA EuropaCup 2026 and the Seanergya Sailing4All Optimist Regatta brought to Constanța exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for: great wind, beautiful weather, and an incredible energy on the water.

A total of 70 sailors from 5 countries competed in the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, and Optimist classes, turning the sea into a true spectacle of color and determination. The first two days set the perfect racing rhythm, with two races per day, followed by day 3 with one race sailed. Unfortunately, on day 4 no races could be held, as the wind was not sufficient for sailing.

Even so, the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, athletes of all ages – from 8 to 60 – gave their very best, and the sailing community, as always, rose to the occasion.

Overall, the event was more than just a competition, it was a complete experience about performance, adaptability, passion, and community.
